PostHeaderIcon Aunt Georgie’s Shrimp Mold

12 oz cream cheese
1 can tomato soup
3/4 c chopped green onions
1 envelope unflavored gelatin(dissolved in 1/4 c hot water)
1 c mayo
1lb (or more) boiled shrimp
Bring soup to a boil. Add cream cheese. Simmer and stir until cheese is melted. Add gelatin and water mixture. Mix well. Cool for at least 15 minutes. Stir in shrimp, mayo and onions. OPTIONAL: Add a dash of Tabasco, if you want more spice.(DO NOT USE A MIXER. It will make the texture spongy instead of creamy.) Pour into sprayed mold. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours. Serve with Ritz crackers!

*****HINT: For Halloween use a brain mold!*****

PostHeaderIcon Cheesy Spiders

Another favorite Halloween recipe that goes great with chili or just by themselves. Cheesy Spiders are super easy to make. No cooking required.
Ingredients:
1 block of cream cheese (cut into squares) for the body
1 bag of shredded cheese ( I recommend the Mexican 4 Cheese) for the hair
chow mein noodles for the legs
diced black olives for the eyes

Roll cream cheese into bite sized balls. Then roll through shredded cheese to add hair. Stick 4 chow mein noodles into each side for legs. Add small olives pieces to make eyes.
Some people don’t care for black olives, so they can be substituted for poppy seeds, cracked pepper or just leave them off completely.
